Published by Anonymous on 1/31/2004 05:11:00 PM

I have a car again too! *beams* But I still want teleportation...

John--The problem isn't Dustin using contingency. The problem is that he doesn't understand enough of the Sorceror/Wizard spells. He needs to pick a few, memorize and use those spell mechanics, then pick some more (i.e. advance a low-level wizard level by level)

Published by John on 1/31/2004 12:18:00 PM

Dustin--Oh yeah I was chillin' with Boba last night :)

Published by John on 1/31/2004 12:12:00 PM

Dustin--Easy to create nasty ass NPCs. Cheat. Just say he had a contingency spell all ready, "just in case". Oldest GM trick in the book. Where were you last night?

Published by Anonymous on 1/31/2004 02:55:00 AM

yay..my car works again.I got a new starter in it with a lifetime warantee for 60 bucks. But thats just cus i have a friend that knows more than most mechanics.

Published by Anonymous on 1/31/2004 01:49:00 AM

*evil grin* I thought Dustin broke yours. Oh, you weren't talking about the sparky gunpowder balls you got for Christmas? *snicker*

Published by Anonymous on 1/30/2004 11:25:00 PM

jeremy somehow put 2 nad 2 togeter

Yeah. I've got two. They hang together. What you gonna' make of it? Beyatch?

Published by Anonymous on 1/30/2004 07:46:00 PM

Dustin--Jeremy or Leon or I could teach you how to run an effective mage, as long as you don't use that to kill the party. Maim, maybe, but not kill. Playtest said mage on someone before running it with the full group or add a mage NPC if whatsisname paladin NPC dies. (Now John has no such scruples)

Deliath never did trust Valefor... Learn from him, yes (especially when another NPC confirmed that information to be safe/true). Trust him...? Are you kidding?!

Leon--How'd your game go last night?

Published by Anonymous on 1/30/2004 05:53:00 PM

john, to answere ur question about my game, it was the best one ever. jeremy somehow put 2 nad 2 togeter and found out that the gray mage who was hellping them was the enemy, a battle insued and they killed my god dam 34 lvl mage, u need to teach me how to create and run an effective mage.

All u guys sux, u ruiened 10 weeks of storyline, ive fixed it though.)

Jeremy--I've got level one in all four medical levels. Let me know where to meet you and I'll follow you out to the collection site. Money money money........

Dustin--I've started to collect some of the resources that you wanted. I have over 300 herbivore from Naboo (good stuff 863). I'll have more for you this weekend.

Published by Anonymous on 1/30/2004 11:47:00 AM

Shatz - A few lucky training sessions. I've got some XP to spare, as long as you've got a few basic medic levels, I can loose and let you teach 'em over again.

I made Bounty Hunter a few nights ago. You're going to cream yourself when you get your hands on a Lt. Lightning Cannon. Don't even bother with the Bazaar- you go straight to Malfunction's vendor just outside of Theed. ASS-kicking for only 35-40k.

BTW- You know how you said you might be interested in "selling" us a few of your lots so we can set up extra harvestors? (Which was a good deal. You get free money for letting us use slots you don't want in the first place.) We've got a beautiful spot for four Water Vapor collectors (assuming nobody else has stolen it...) we'd like you to lay down for us next time we meet online.

#1. Just plunk them down where we tell you. #2...? #3. Profit!

Published by John on 1/30/2004 10:32:00 AM

Dustin--How did your game go last night?

Jeremy--How did you get your AP points? I'm 150 short to get master marksman. I'm so friggin' close to Bounty Hunter! Argh!

Dustin & Jeremy--In other news I actually played a game that didn't involve a wookie! I finally opened my copy of Hunter for the PS2. Wow! I like the controls and interface much better than the Game Cube version. Of course 2 player only kind of sucks, but I'll deal (no one ever wants to play with me *sniff*). I felt that I had to open it because I added another unopened PS2 game to the pile, and it was getting too large.

Caroline--Nope, we are all out. Normal or otherwise!

Published by Anonymous on 1/29/2004 12:44:00 PM

Hey John, got any normal monitors? Or are you out of those till summer?

Published by John on 1/29/2004 09:49:00 AM

Caroline & Jeremy--Hey you guys should appreciate Dustin. I mean everyone knows Dustin LOVES THE WANG! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA............

Dustin--Sorry had to do it. Tried not, but I've given in to the Darkside :(

Published by Anonymous on 1/28/2004 05:23:00 PM

Well, he does. :) He even admitted it himself.

Published by Anonymous on 1/28/2004 02:02:00 PM

Heh. She just said you have a small Wang.

Published by Anonymous on 1/27/2004 07:19:00 PM

No game this week, but if all goes well *crosses fingers for the umpteenth time*, I should have my own wheels by the end of this weekend.

Dustin--Hmm... I might wait on that until this one goes blue permanently. *snicker* That's rather small for everyday use as a monitor.

Published by Anonymous on 1/27/2004 05:19:00 PM

caroline, i have a 15in wang u can have, and yes it is a monitor.

Published by Anonymous on 1/27/2004 12:24:00 PM

Woot! Classes are cancelled!

On a different note, let me know if you have a Apple or VGA monitor to loan or sell cheaply (under $20). My 17" monitor just died (Snap, Crackle, Pop). Then again, I got it in August 1998, and it's been threatening to die since last May. My spare 15" monitor is going blue, but works well enough.

Published by Anonymous on 1/26/2004 11:05:00 AM

So who was that at the door?
It was Boba FUCKING Fett!

Published by Anonymous on 1/25/2004 03:07:00 PM

WETA Workshop (i.e. the special effects team for the LoTR trilogy) has published concept art for their live-action version of Eva. Neat. :)

Published by Anonymous on 1/24/2004 01:51:00 PM

Dustin--Animal Shapes (as 7th level Wizard spell), Energy Immunity (T&B 88), Ilajam Fire (R&R 84), Mordenkainen's Mansion, Mordenkainen's Sword

Once again, Deliath has gained just enough hit points; damage from failing two of her own high-level saves will knock her out, not kill her.

Published by Anonymous on 1/23/2004 08:26:00 PM

about $200

Bah, gaming never prevents anyone from getting important things done. You either get it done before game, after game, or you decide it wasn't really important. :D

Published by Anonymous on 1/19/2004 06:56:00 PM

Yeah, I can do that.

Published by Anonymous on 1/19/2004 03:09:00 PM

She'll grow up to be a Sith.

Published by John on 1/19/2004 11:32:00 AM

Hah hah Imperial scum. Saturday I and my guild destroyed not one, but two imperial outposts. And it could not of been done without the aid of Scooter, the Thunder Lizard (baby rill). Muhahahahahahaha........

Actually all of the other Creature Handlers were picking on me. They had Rancors, and I had my Thunder Lizard (baby rill). Though Jeremy the Rancors are even more broken than you thought. Healing doesn't mark you as an enemy, so we stood right behind the Rancors as they tore up ATSTs right and left. IMPs couldn't touch us until after the ATSTs were down. Try knocking a Rancor down when there are 9 healers waiting on it to be damaged, nearly impossible. Way too powerful. After the ATSTs were down I did get to go off with my VibroLance on a few Stormtroopers. Wahoo!

ps: Thunder Lizard stood right under the ATST doing his 5-9 points of damage every 3 seconds, so he helped :)

Published by Anonymous on 1/18/2004 01:09:00 AM

Neat, I have a ride! (I don't really need an in-game explanation for why everyone has to be in one place unless you want to give everyone one for story reasons.) I also don't need a ride back immediately after game, if people want to go to CK. I could prolly hitch a ride to CK with Jeremy so you could drop off Larry. You're driving, so it's your decision when the ride is, based on weather, driving conditions, how late you want to be driving, etc.

Published by Anonymous on 1/17/2004 09:31:00 PM

umh she cant be in farmdale or anyother place besides with the barbarians, Ill explane in game, I can give ride back if someone can give larry a ride back to his place after game.

Dusty i work monday so cant drive around then...sorry

Published by Anonymous on 1/16/2004 08:42:00 PM

Hmm... I can definitely get a ride to Wooster from a friend here, but not back to Kent.

So is anyone willing to give me a ride to Kent after game? *angelic face* I'll pay gas money and the directions are really easy.

Otherwise, it's just going to be "a while" before I can get to Wooster. Stupid car. Stupid phone tag. Stupid lack of teleportation.

IC, Deliath is either off somewhere or is in party background (making lots and lots of arrows *evil grin*) If she's off somewhere (the most likely option), she's checking on the status of the Moobka and the tower at Farmdale, is learning how to become a Holy Liberator at one of Corellon's temples (Waive Iron Will pre-req as long as she takes Iron Will as 15th lvl feat?), and/or is researching Titus and a few low-level spells at the Undead Library, Farmdale, etc. I know those're only semi-plausible reasons because it doesn't make much sense for her to leave the party. However, she is stubborn, easily bored, chaotic, and capable of teleporting back, after all. Who knows, maybe she'll remember to send messages and arrows every once in a while.

Published by Anonymous on 1/15/2004 04:03:00 PM

It's Leon's game tonight, as far as I know.

Today I discovered that the KSU bookstore has two whole shelves of manga (translated, of course). *beams*

Published by Anonymous on 1/15/2004 02:55:00 PM

I assume we're having a game tonight, since I haven't heard anything else about it.

Whoever is GM tonight, I won't be able to make it. I apoligize in advance.

Employment, however limited, overrules entertainment.

Published by Anonymous on 1/14/2004 12:22:00 PM

*sigh* Speaking of a ridiculously long time to fix cars... No car by next Th either. Yay phone tag with car repair people! Well, at least they're using part of that time to find cheapish parts...

I may able to convince one of my friends to drive me next week... *plots* But game's too soon for a ride this week.

Dustin--If the ride works out, will an elven bard NPC still work with in-game location/plot?

Published by Anonymous on 1/14/2004 11:07:00 AM

John--But he needs to see Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma before Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back in order to appreciate it properly... Thanks for the thought, but it isn't much use to ask my movie preferences. I doubt you're showing movies at 11PM, which is the earliest my long Tues night class would let me get there. But, hey, the longer class sessions let it end in mid-March instead of early May.

Published by John on 1/14/2004 09:36:00 AM

Dustin--You get a job! Stop playing so much Star Wars!

Published by John on 1/14/2004 09:34:00 AM

Caroline--Mallrats and Jay and Silent Bob Strike back. Two classic Kevin Smith movies from my collection. Can you believe Dustin hasn't ever seen a Kevin Smith movie, ever! The boy is/was suffering from entertainment retardation! It is my goal to help him obtain some level of coolness. Do everyone a favor and watch where you are going, you need to watch movies with us.

Jeremy--Last time I checked (last night) the stuff that I brought over is still bagged up in your living room :-P Plus I was playing with my Trogdore action figure last night.

Dustin--Bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...... Did you like the movies last night?

Jeremy, Dustin, & Caroline--We didn't discuss next weeks movies. I have a couple of horror films (one of which is about flesh eating earthworms) that would work nicely. But you may not want another night of movie monster mayhem. Of course Jason vs. Freddy came out yesterday, and I will be picking that up. Heh heh heh heh......

Published by Anonymous on 1/14/2004 12:23:00 AM

Whee! I knew those arrows were worth 6th level spell slots. Guess I'll be making a few more... Uberarrows or Mass Haste? *snickers*

You guys watched Jay and Silent Bob? *pouts* Which one(s) of the series?

Definitely no fixed car by this Th, but I should see people next week, barring any other unpleasant events (or ridiculously long car repairs).

Jeremy--If you find two jobs that involve getting paid to read fark.com all day, let me know, k?

Published by Anonymous on 1/13/2004 02:56:00 PM

Shatz- I don't play at Noon. Dustin plays at noon. I rarely get online before 8pm.

Even though my current "employment" is little more than a few hours of computer work at the shop, and E-baying your basement, I'm still not playing Star Wars. I'm still looking for that perfect job where I can get paid for reading FARK all day.

Speaking of your basement, y'know you don't have to wait for me to sell off every single item before you bring over a new load? Really. Pile that shit on. The more the better... :)

Published by John on 1/13/2004 01:17:00 PM

Jeremy--You guys get to play at noon. I don't get to play at noon, they make me work and stuff....... *sniff* it isn't fair ;-P

Published by John on 1/13/2004 01:16:00 PM

Jeremy--I'll do it to help you out. You are right about the AP points. I've been really lucky with you and Dustin, as well as running into a couple of newbie groups in the wild. In fact both times they just stumbled into my camp.

Jeremy & Dustin--You guys ready for some Jay and Silent Bob?

Published by Anonymous on 1/13/2004 01:07:00 PM

As for SWG - I need AP points. It is such a bitch to get students, I've seen a number of people offering to PAY novice characters to choose them to level up with.

Fuck it. I'm using a Macro. The Artizan class is perfect for an AP macro. All it takes is 6000 credits (one stack of metal, one stack of chemical from the Bazaar) and a reasonably complex macro and you can get 1000xp / 20ap in about 5 minutes.

All it requires is someone running the same macro, and an hour of their time. You just sit and chat, and take turns training each other when neccisary. (Or you can run it for an hour or so AFK, stockpile XP and train when you get back.)

I asked Dustin if he was interested three times last night, which aparently he was oblivious to. I didn't get a damned answer. Shatz, you of course can get in on this too, if you want.

I can set everyone up with the macro tonight at the movie if they're interested...

Published by Anonymous on 1/13/2004 12:56:00 PM

Shatz- Aw. Does this mean you're not going to call to ask me when I'm getting online anymore? :P

Caroline - It wasn't the paladin I fought. It was his son. Who was lucky to surive into the second round of combat. The "rules of engagement" allowed for spell-buffs to assist the combat. When all was said and done, I walked out of the engagement with no HP loss. (Regen from the Druid.)

We decided you deserved at least a bit of XP, because the big uber-undead thing we ened up fighting took close to half it's total HPs in damage by your 6th level Spelled Arrows. We used all nine of them the party had in stock.

Published by John on 1/13/2004 10:17:00 AM

Dustin & Jeremy--Get a job! :-P

Published by Anonymous on 1/13/2004 08:09:00 AM

How in the world did Jeremy's char win against that ultra high level paladin? I got XP? *blinks* Neat. (Ever closer to levelling) And the party has a new NPC, and the biggest city ever got turned into zombies... not good. (Plus it nixes the idea of my char randomly visiting Valfor... Not a particularly good excuse for missing a session, but it would've worked.) Guess we'll have a reason to use the Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion I get next level.

Dunno about car yet, still waiting on an estimate.

Meh. 7 and a half hours of class and a meeting today... I feel like I'm back in high school.

Published by Anonymous on 1/13/2004 04:05:00 AM

Caroline Jeremy was challenged to a duel at the coliseum, he won. You guys got a new npc named vorhees in the Group. They went back to Luskan only to find a walking graveyard and a lot of undead to greet them. You earned 4000 xp because of your arrows, the only reason they survived. How's the car comming?

Jeremy what time are u gonna play swg, I should be logging in at about noon.

All-- I reached unarmed 4 and bought my self a landspeeder, not quiet as fast as a speedr bike, but it works.

Published by Anonymous on 1/12/2004 02:24:00 PM

Well, you know, old text before spelling standardization...

So Dustin, what did happen at game? :-P

Published by John on 1/12/2004 12:37:00 PM

Jeremy--Snoogins. I think that I have to be a master scout to teach that, and it is still a bit away for me. I found a bunch of newbies Saturday night, have around 400 AP points stored up.

Published by Anonymous on 1/12/2004 12:24:00 PM

Shatz- Oo. APs. Thanks! I should be really close to Exploration IV in scouting. Lots of AP for you in return.

the following is the only reference to Titus found in the book,

It is the year 34 of the second age. The drow and the elves live in the mountains north of the city of Luskin. Nearly a thousand years of peace was known to the people of the realm, but fait would intervene.
The gods proclaimed to every living creature, good and evil to come to their aid. The gods were under attack by the Titans in their home plain. The Titans were a race of giants, 40 ft tall beast of destruction. They had the strength of the gods and the intelligence of man. They were defeated during the first battle of the first age in the year 63. The gods banished them to a foreign realm where they could do no harm. Somehow their bonds were broken and they waged war on the god in their own beautiful home plain of Valhalla.
The gods, coming close to defeat, sent message to every plain requesting dire aid. When the time to gather forces came, every race sent at least a thousand good healthy strong warriors, some good and some with a sinister plan in the works. Far too many evil hearts were at the gathering. The gods decided to pick and choose hew was to fight at their sides. 500 were chosen from the warriors of men, 500 from the spirited fighters of the dwarfs, 500 from the gnomes, 500 from the shires, 500 from the beautiful yet dangerous drow, and 2000 were demanded of the kind and gentle wood elves, most favored of Corellon Larethian.
Lolth, a high cleric drafted of the drow, seized a golden opportunity. She was able to silence one of the gods and steal some ambrosia, the food of the gods, one bite and you become immortal and gain some of the powers of the gods. She then rallied the rest of the drow force into fighting against the gods and other races and side with the titans. The gods, with the help of a few brave mortals destroyed the Titans and killed all the drow except for Lolth; she was banished to the underworld where she can rule for eternity.
All of the survivors of the great battle were blessed by the gods, none more so than the paladin Titus, a high elf of the wooded mountains.
Unbeknownst to Titus, another battle is being fought in another realm. The reaming armies of the races joined together to drive the drow deep into the caves of the underedark, a place of perpetual darkness and fear of the unknown.
Fearing the insurgence of power in the elves, the armies then turned to the mountains where the elves us to share a home with the drow. Fearing the coming battle, the Elvin king ordered the wizards of the land to find a peaceful solution. The answer they came up with was to sever a part of the mountain and plain shift into another plain. The remaining armies awaited the return of their comrades in the basin of what is now the bowl.
Upon returning to his home realm Titus was greeted with great fanfare. The gods bestowed upon Titus a great artifact, a light blue gem of some sort. Some say it increased his great beauty, others say it was a cursed thing and it and he should be destroyed.
Not more than one day after the gods left, Titus was at war again. The armies were dissolved the day before and there at his door step today, fear that the elves were gaining too much power, and for greed of the gem, the armies attacked. They left all of the women and children, and killed all of the resisting males. Titus was slain by an arrow through the heart; his remains were to be sealed in the basement of a newly built gray mages tower in the city of Luskin. A key was made to seal the door so that no man could open it without the key. It was broken into 3 pieces, one piece was given to the People of Aquestreous, the most fair of the human kingdoms. One piece was give to clan Redwatters of the Dwarven Kingdom. The last piece was give to the elves, in hopes of forgetting this tragedy.
The reaming elves were forced to live in the empty spot where their proud mountain once stood. The armies dissolved and moved into the thriving metropolis of Luskin.
Over the great winter, the humans dwindled in numbers. They began breading with other races to regain their ranks incase of a war with the elves or the dwarves. The half breads grew in numbers and were not accepted in polite society. They were forced to find a home somewhere in the desert, where they live like nomads.

Jeremy--I have qualified for level 2 in 3 of the medic classes. I really don't want the levels, but will train and pitch so you can earn some APs. Look me up tonight when I get on (around 8ish).

Rebels, Imperials, I don't care. As long as I get my creds. If I could afford to buy anything more expensive than a Nutty Buddy right now I'd seriously consider SWG.

Published by Anonymous on 1/11/2004 04:30:00 PM

Shatz- Evil is subjective. You seem to forget it was this very same Rebellion that funded an illegal clone army in a completely unjustified attack against Trade Federation controlled forces. And, might I add, were the ones who had fairly elected Palpatine into power in the first place. You have Senator Binks to thank mostly for that.

The Empire is a peacekeeping group. Diplomatic channels are open- you simply refuse to use them. All you have to do is pay your taxes and play nice, just like everyone else. Instead, these Rebel scum resort to terrorism...

I spent pretty much all I had- 40k worth on a group of harvestors, and enough resources to run them non-stop for the next three days. Aparently New Hispania was built on a very rich gas an ore deposit. 90+% gas concentrations. Unforunately, I could only build on the outskirts of the city with around an 80% concentration. Two personal gas harvesters, backed up by four Wind Energy collectors, operating at around 55%. Not the best, but the best I could find in the area. Hopefully it will turn out profitable...

Jeremy--The rebel missions pay okay, and you don't have to suckle at the teat of an evil evil man with James Earl Jones' voice............ Woo Hoo I bought a speederbike!

Who wants a terabyte HD for $1100? Or if nothing else, a 500GB HD for $600?

Imp! Imp! *sends an imp to fix the broken car*

Well, the estimate will be ready Monday or Tuesday, so it'll either be fixed really fast (which I doubt) and I'll be there for Leon's game, or it'll take longer and I'll be there for Dustin's next game. *grumblesigh*

Quiet, Dancing Monkey.

(Really. Run Imp missions at the Oasis. Easy. Good money. I'll buy the faction points off ya.)

You imperialist bastard

Published by Anonymous on 1/09/2004 03:38:00 PM

Well, there's also the slight problem that I lack a computer with the appropriate processor to play it.

Published by Anonymous on 1/09/2004 03:33:00 PM

Shatz- If the Jedi aren't actually the power-gamer's wet dream, like I was told they might be, then I see no reason to unlock one. Though I could always sell 'em. I wonder how much those holocrons sell for... hmmn. :)

Enh, not bad. Worked on gathering Imp faction points most of the night, till Dustin came on. Ended up getting him killed trying to heal/tank him versus high-level critters.

Officially joined the Imperials, then got an offer to join a rebel Uber-guild. They wanted new players, and were offering a free small house AND a landspeeder to all new members. Great offer. I wonder if they'd mind me wearing my white armor to official meetings? (Damnit...)

Was chatting with a Master Bounty Hunter at the Imperial Oasis. Aparently, he's Rebel, too. He just runs Imperial missions because they pay really well.

Rebel scum.

Well, it's not gone yet. *crosses fingers* However, I still prolly shouldn't start another time-consuming obsession. I have a few already.

Caroline--Bummer you could of used the Christmas money on crack *er* I mean Galaxies. Same difference I suppose :)

Published by Anonymous on 1/09/2004 01:03:00 PM

Umm... I ran into someone's car, which then produced a domino effect with another car... *innocent look* Nobody was hurt and their cars are basically fine, but my hood is slightly crumpled. Insurance is investigating and will hopefully pay for much/all of it. If not, so much for my Christmas money and a chunk of savings. *mopes* If nothing else, no car gives me time to focus on homework, yeah. *mopes more* See peoples when it gets fixed, hopefully soon.

So what all happened during game?

Published by John on 1/09/2004 09:06:00 AM

Jeremy--They call it grinding. They will set up Macros all day long to either make items in practice mode (doesn't fill up their inventory), or set macros to play/dance all day long. It lets them walk away from their systems and still earn tons of xp. What I read is that you have to just keep unlocking Master levels to earn Holocrons, which tell you what to do to unlock your force sensitive slot. I will tell you that if you "cheat" to get a jedi Trogdore will find you and lay the beat down stick on ya :-) How did it go last night?

Dustin--I had fun last night, you are starting to get pretty good with the combat and stuff. I think that Honey Mustard really goes best with Ewok.

Caroline--I'm glad you are okay. So what did happen?

Published by Anonymous on 1/09/2004 03:17:00 AM

I thin a good bbq is inorder

Published by Anonymous on 1/08/2004 10:33:00 PM

Caroline - Glad to hear it was just a minor accident. What happened, 'zactly?

Shatz- "Seriously though, there are some people that set up Macros all day just to earn Holicrons and open their force sensitive slot. "

You can do that...? Er... I mean...

Published by Anonymous on 1/08/2004 08:02:00 PM

Hey, I had a minor car accident. I'm fine, but no game tonight. See you guys next week or two weeks, when the car gets fixed (hood problems, possibly radiator)

Published by John on 1/08/2004 05:09:00 PM

Heh heh heh there is an entire list discussing the best dippin' sauce for Ewoks.......... mmmmmm honey mustard.

Published by John on 1/08/2004 04:31:00 PM

Damn, just read several posts that Jedi aren't unbalanced. I guess a master Bounty Hunter can take most everying up to a Master by himself. Let the carnage begin..... TROGDORE SMASH!

Published by John on 1/08/2004 04:25:00 PM

Jeremy & Dustin--After reading the forums and all of the powergamers that think Jedi Masters are going to be the shiznit I have decided something. I have done the math. I'm going to obtain Master Scout, Master Bounty Hunter, Master Pikeman, and finally Sniper. Then I'm going to go Jedi Hunting. Even if they are more powerful than me, I can respawn after dying, they don't. All Jedi will learn to fear Trog, all will fear him. Seriously though, there are some people that set up Macros all day just to earn Holicrons and open their force sensitive slot. What the hell fun is that? Then they rant at the developers for making it so hard. Damn just play the freakin' game. I think that I'm going to start the Strong Badia Jedi Killing Mafia guild, you guys in?

Published by John on 1/08/2004 03:18:00 PM

Fushizzell bolizzil snizzel.....

Dustin--So have you tried Galaxies over dialup yet?

Jeremy & Dustin--I'm logging in tonight around 7:30, email me if you want to play

Published by Anonymous on 1/08/2004 02:03:00 PM

Meh. I still want a DVD release, or a theater re-release of the first one.

Dustin--I'm bringing a friend tonight. I know it's short notice, but this is another one-time thing. She's a relative newbie, so I'll probably help her make a fighter of some kind.

Okay the following is from TV Guides Flickchick column, which is normally right on the mark.

...And though you didn't ask, director Don Coscarelli and cult-movie actor Bruce Campbell have said that the sequel promised at the end of offbeat mummy movie Bubba Ho-Tep (2003), Bubba Nosferatu: Curse of the She-Vampires, isn't just a joke. Coscarelli hopes to make a series of films in which Elvis Presley (Campbell) squares off against an assortment of supernatural beings at various stages in his career. Bubba Nosferatu (and, presumably, any other films Coscarelli has in mind) would be a prequel to Bubba Ho-Tep, which finds an aging Elvis in an East Texas nursing home that's being terrorized — although terrorized may not be precisely the word — by a mummy...

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....... I'M SO FRIGGIN HAPPY!

Published by John on 1/06/2004 04:47:00 PM

Well since Dustin never got back to me I suppose I'll see everyone at 7:30

Published by Anonymous on 1/06/2004 07:59:00 AM

Oh yeah-

Star Wars Galaxies has a limited "sell out your friends like the crack-fiend you are..." one-week memberships going on right now. I guess what you do is borrow the install disks from someone who already has them (Hi!) and I can request a special key sent to you. You use this, and you get a week-long trial account.

Dusty- you wanted to try it out, and see how the game handled over a dial-up, right...?

(One of us... one of us.... one of us... one of us...)

Jeremy--Okay 7:30 it is.

Dustin--Do you want to still meet at 6pm. We could go get supper or something. Let me know, otherwise I will be "Wookinating" the Jawas till 7.

Shatz, Dustin, Caroline - I have a some Micro$oft TS2 event going on tomorrow, I forgot was on Tuesday.

Show-time for the movies will be pushed ahead till 7:30p.

Are mithral bucklers reasonable for arcane spellcasters? According to the PHB, somatic components only require one free hand, plus mithril reduces a buckler's Arcane Spell Failure and Armor Check Penalty back down to zero.

John--Sure, if you can give me subscription money each month and replace the gaming time spent on Galaxies with enough time to do my homework, attend class, work, sleep, eat, burninate the villagers, etc.

Published by John on 1/03/2004 06:07:00 PM

Jeremy--I've upgraded Trogdore. I managed to find a reinforced steel polearm. It makes a neat twang when I hit, as well as nearly doubling my damage. Very cool stuff.

All must join us on Star Wars Galaxies........

Published by John on 1/02/2004 03:32:00 PM

Wookie get polearm, Jawa go smash.......... heh heh heh

See you tonight I'll log in about 6.

Shatz- No... I've been spending my time at my parent's house helping out with the E-bay thing for money. So I can afford to play the Galaxies. ;)

I'll see ya tonight. Gotta' kill some frogs.

Published by John on 1/02/2004 03:12:00 PM

Jeremy--Dammit are you playing Galaxies? Son of a....... :-P

Published by John on 1/02/2004 01:28:00 PM

Hey I'm a Wookie, oh yeah!

Jeremy--So did you have fun last night? I'm going to log into the game after work tonight, let me know if you want to play.

Everyone needs to go out and get Star Wars Galaxies, then get fast ethernet access. Then come to the Radiant Galaxy and look up Trogdore, the Wookie on Tatooine. Hell yeah!

You know your DM is evil... "if he secretly forges a Master Die to control the rolls of all his players' dice, driving them all to their inescapable doom."

"THE LORD OF THE DICE:

It began with the forging of the Great Dice.

Three were given to the Rules Lawyers:
Unstoppable, the smartest and most knowledgeable beings.

Seven to the Role-Players:
Inspired, the most creative and resourceful gamers.

And Nine.....Nine dice were gifted to the Min/Maxers:
Who above all else, desire power.

Within these dice were bound the strength and will to lead each group.
But they were all of them deceived, for another die was made.

In the land of Garweeze, in the caffeine waters of Mount BOOM, the Dark Lord Kenzer forged in secret a Master Die to control all others. And into the Die he poured his luck, his chaotic evil, and his will to dominate all game sessions.

One die to rule them all, one die to find them,
One die to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.
In the land of Garweeze, where the Cheetoos lie.

One by one, the free tables of GenCon fell to the power of the Die, but there were some who resisted.

A last alliance of Min/Maxers and Rules Lawyers marched against the mind slaves of Garweeze. On the slopes of Mount BOOM, they fought for the freedom of GenCon.
Victory was near....

But the power of the Die could not be undone."
