I've never actually seen one of those books, or even ones like it... (I did the "Choose your own Adventure" series, but never one with a character sheet and dice. That sounds kinda' cool.)

Also I don't know if you guys ever "played" those old adventure books when you were young. Basically they were very similar to choose your own adventure books, but with dice and a character sheet for the lonely nerd to play when he didn't have any friends (yeah I was one). These mock ups of the old books are pretty damn funny, so I thought I would post them.

So, I have an awesome idea for a new comic hero; Schrodinger's Cat.
The radiation given off by the isotope has a chance of killing the cat, not killing the cat, or, as unexpected consequence, giving the cat quantum super powers. As long as the box is never opened, all 3 states exist. And since one of the cat's quantum powers is quantum teleportation, its able to appear exist outside of the box, even though it might be dead.
Or maybe a villian. I could see The Tick fighting this.
