Shatz- I accept flaws and merits from any book. I'll have to approve them on a case-by-case basis, but I don't know of any of them off hand I wouldn't allow.
No limits on merits, but if anyone is powermonkey enough to buy more than 7pts of flaws, the freebies max at 7.
As for edition, I don't know. I think it's second. It's before the ascention storm and the "We need to sell more books..." saga.
