Dan - I'm still not exactly sure how I want to handle character creation, but the story hook I'm working on is going to demand a pretty high level. I'm thinking in the 4-6 area, so I'll probably be starting you at 5, with extra freebie points. If you spent em all on your Magic progression, you could probably pull off a 7, or maybe an 8 if you abuse yourself with flaws for extra points- but you'd be severely lacking everywhere else.
