I don't have to regulate Ether gagets. They tend to regulate themselves.
You want to spend 7 dots on an orbital space lazer platform, that's cool. It's also cool the first time you botch the activation roll, causing the coolant system to fail and the satelite to go critical in a low Earth orbit, raining radioactive debris over half the planet.
