Sorry about Friday guys. I attended a professional conference for members of IT help desks. Somehow when they planned the conference they managed to not provide internet access! I didn't get back in town until later on Friday evening.

I won't be able to make it, I made plans to hang out with some friends I havn't seen in a while.

Alright... so were we serious about spending 'bout three hours (down and back) driving to watch 300 on the big-ass screen? (Actually, I'd be driving. You'd be in my car. I'll actually clean out my back seat, too! Shocking. I know..)

The IMAX version is playing at 7:00p, 9:45p and 12:15a. 7:00p is too early to get there, and 12:15a is probably just a little too damned late, so I'm gonna' guess if this does happen we should shoot for the 9:45p. Gives us plenty of time to get down there, actually find the place, and grab some Indian food.

Or did you guys wanna' just catch the movie on one of the screens here in town earlier in the evening, and then go eat chicken wings?

I checked with the IMAX site, and it looks like the nearest IMAX theater playing 300 is the AMC Easton in Columbus. (The Science Center in Cleveland also has a big screen, but they only show sciency-stuff.)

It can be fucking amazing and fucking huge at the same time.

Standard item creation usually has higher-level spells being made into Staves, and not wands. (You also won't find any high-level potions.)

There are some tables in Tome and Blood to price out custom magic items.

I'm working on my character for Dusty's game, and I was looking at wands, and they don't go above 4th level which is REALLY lame. Is there any way get wands above 4th level? If not I think I might scratch this dual wand wielder. : /

Just to fill the rest of you guys in I picked up a 30 inch widescreen flatpanel TV/Computer monitor at Best Buy on Friday night. $4000 monitor for $700 bucks (was their demo model) and a 3 year warranty! Apple Cinema display can suck my balls!

Awesome game tonight, had a lot of fun. Top off the reappearance of Dustin and thinks are looking good for gaming in 07. So I was thinking that it would be cool to do some board games next week. I've recently purchased the expansion for Lunch Money and even more stuff for my Zombie board game. I figure that we order some pizza and have a blast.

Anyway thanks again Scott for a great game. I went straight home and leveled Squiggles up to 3rd. I can't wait to play again in two weeks.
