So, I have an awesome idea for a new comic hero; Schrodinger's Cat.
The radiation given off by the isotope has a chance of killing the cat, not killing the cat, or, as unexpected consequence, giving the cat quantum super powers. As long as the box is never opened, all 3 states exist. And since one of the cat's quantum powers is quantum teleportation, its able to appear exist outside of the box, even though it might be dead.
Or maybe a villian. I could see The Tick fighting this.
