The job is well enough. It would be better with Warcraft, but I'm not spending the kind of money for a machine that can handle the game for only two nights a week. :)

The "job" on Saturday/Sunday morning takes place between Midnight and around 2:30am when the bar finally closes and all the obnoxious, drunken college students finally leave. Then I spend five hours watching cartoons. Adult Swim on a lil' TV with cable in the back office.

I like Saturday.

Sunday/Monday morning is just dead. Nothing on TV. Just six hours of infomercials. Though I did find out how to make one million dollars working from home.

I will be returning to a normal schedule after this weekend. I'll be at the Best Western from 11p-7a Saturday and Sunday, then I should be back to my normal weekday schedule. (Minus most of Monday, which I will be sleeping through.)

First off, were never going to get to find out just how fast she can be, there is no way in H*%&# that Im ever gonna run that epic game. Ever. Im having a hard enough time keeping up with 10th lvl characters. Secondly, there are a few story line issues that, aka box text, I didnt read during the last session. We're going to have to do a few minuite rewind so I can get it in. Nothing real major, I just messed up when I described a few things during the fight. I appoligise, I was working the game on next to nill sleep and just forgot a few things.

of course that would require a little bit of buffing to get quite those numbers (she only has a +41 to hit) but hey it's not that far off and between the two casters I'm sure any minor definciencies can be, shall we say, "buffed out"

Never was really happy with how Bridget's move worked out. she had three different forms of movement enhancement and we really kind of cludged out the whole thing since it wasn't quite clear how some of that stuff should stack or not. I think her final move was only a base of 70 or 80. Of course, at a full sprint and with a haste action she could cover a HELL of a lot of ground in a single round (assuming 70 feet, that's still 350 feet in 6 seconds which is WAY over the world record and works out to about 40 mph (and with a con of 29, she might be able to keep it up for quite long, if the haste wouldn't wear off) (hey Bartlesby, don't you have persistant spell? evil grin)

Also wouldn't it be fun to watch Dustins head splode while you tried to explain to him how you can run a quarter of a mile, paste 1/2 dozen high level demons, and be back in my mansion for the feast in say oh 10 or 12 seconds :)

Well, I found most of Brigitt's character sheet. All the important parts anyhow. Gear sheet was missing, but hey, she was getting re-equipped by the Gods anyhow. Did a new copy with a couple of minor tweaks (looking back over the way she was developed, I didn't get the feats quite right at epic levels, not sure where the error crept in at, but she had at least one feat she shouldn't have been able to take (it was really quite minor, must have taken an epic feat with one of the templar bonus slots, should have been a regular feat, was a fairly useless one anyhow (epic level fighters get the shaft, most of their feats are shite compared to the epic metamagic or the monk stuff)).

Trust me, Dustin, you don't want to run that epic game. Brigitt is sick and utterly wrong and could just lie back and have a nice nap, since Stumpy and Bartlesby would kill everything in two rounds just fine without her. Unless of course it radiated a permanent antimagic aura, was immune to crits, had a DR of 20, etc. (I still don't see any way for a party that doesn't include any dragons, major giants or similar creatures to kill one of those (not sure how shapeshifters work, they can't use their ability in an antimagic area, but do they return to their natural form?)

Dustin--Um that wasn't a new episode Sunday? They said it was.

From what I understood, the 3 episodes of Amarican Dad that was shown already was supposed to be the last of it, according to FOX, the show was cancled. Its a good thing too, that show sucked monky but.

Leon--Firefly had the potential to be a great sci fi show. Everything that Enterprise wasn't :( Fox killed that and the Lone Gunmen (which I also have on DVD) before either had a chance to get a following. Damn them! Well at least Family Guy is back on the air. Sunday's episode was pretty good.

Ah Firefly. That show had so much potential, and then Fox killed it and displayed it's corpse briefly on Friday nights. Never had a chance. Didn't realise they had a trailer up for the movie yet, will have to check that out. Would love to see the episodes again. I'm fairly sure I missed at least one, plus if you bought the set, it's supposed to have one or two unaired eps.

Like I said, I'd love to go to Origins. Won't be able to do my usual shopping this year, barely gonna be able to afford to go at all, but I can still con free stuff and game like crazy.

Shatz, I too was a huge firefly fan. I didn't catch all the episodes, I would love to see them all from the begining, when would be a good time to schedule a viewing? Also, Im in for Origins.

Dustin--Laptop is finished. I can't get the DVD drive to play movies with the new OS (firmware issue). I figured you would rather have a much better OS then worry about the DVD drive playing movies.

Farve--I have another old macintosh that I can hook you up with if you want. It runs the older OS (system 9.2.2) and will have a word processor installed. If you want it let me know. I want $50 for it.

All--Well I've been writing for the BESM game. I think it is really going to start getting good. I would appreciate a write up the next time we play giving your characters background. I'll need to know that so I can figure out how the current storyline is going to effect you.

They kind of had to use point-buy to make it fair. Rolls are far too random for an online game that has to rely on numbers for balance (and not a DM that can manipulate encounters/loot to make things more fair for someone who plays well, but got a bad set of rolls on creation.) It also solves the problem of just having people re-create characters 900 times until they get that one who rolled 2 or 3 18s.


Of course, we're still going to see an assload of 3 CHA / 20 STR Half-Orc Barbarians.

Well, they are allowing multiclassing, so Im going to see how well a fighter/rogue combo works if I get into beta, Plz Plz let me get into beta Plz. We've killed two giants. One dropped dead during the initial Fireball at the camp. The second was nuked by a flamestrike during the first wave.

The only giant left would be the one Hill Giant. Plus another 70+ Orcs, minus any killed in the tent explosion. Plus one really pissed off Shaman. Who's going to frost-shock us to death.
